THE PROPIETOR'S REMARK

The ‘JEXTOBAN Project was conceived at a time when old values we once cherished were fast disappearing in the nation’s system. It was not unusual for students to spend some extra years trying to make up for their “carry over” in one or two key subjects after the first attempt at the West Africa Senior Certificate Examination. The learning process in schools was a far cry from what we enjoyed in the late 50s and early 60s. Then the teachers were committed and facilities were adequately available.

To ameliorate these lapses in our own little corner, JEXTOBAN was conceived and brought alive.
What then is our mission: you may ask.

In JEXTOBAN, we aim at developing the total personality of the child (body, soul and spirit). Any wonder then, we are cut out for “qualitative and good character”.

As a Christian school, we endeavour to impact into our children, the ideals and virtues of the Christian faith, viz-a-viz in the Almighty God, faith in atoning blood of Jesus that brings a transformation of life and character, hard work, diligence, transparent honesty resulting in a strong desire for excellence in academics and morals.

These eleven years of our corporate existence have witnessed a steady realization of our dreams, hopes and aspirations.
Our products are transiting from school straight to institutions of higher learning without having to wait for years at home battling with University Matriculation Examinations year in year out.
These ex-students are found all over the world proving their worth wherever they find themselves.
The facilities we have put in place have really facilitated the learning process.

Work is about starting on our proposed permanent site along the Lagos –Ibadan Express Way where we hope to have a residential campus.
We are not relenting in our efforts to bring up a set of “leaders of tomorrow” that will positively affect their own generation.
It is our conviction that you can only give what you have. If this generation of students are brought up with the fear of God in their hearts, they are likely going to continue in it as they grow and these are those that will transform their society when they come of age.

“The proof of the pudding is in the eating”. Many parents that had almost given up hope on words before they brought them to JEXTOBAN are today rejoicing they made the right decision.
You too join the JEXTOBAN FAMILY where students, teachers, members of the nonacademic staff and the management all live and work together in harmony, sharing the same hopes and aspirations. You are no doubt welcome aboard as soon as you make up your mind to come in. God bless you for doing so.
